Wilfred Rhodes (1877-1973) was the game's most prolific wicket-taker, taking 4,187 wickets 1898-1930, and also scoring 39,802 first class runs.Short Biography:
Playing for Yorkshire Rhodes made a record 763 appearances in the county championship. When he played his 58th and final game for England, against West Indies in 1930, he was over 52 years old, the oldest ever test cricketer.
