Stacy London is an American TV personality. She is mostly known for her work as a "What Not to Wear" anchor. Apart from being a TV anchor she is also a fashion advisor. Stacy was born in May 25th 1969. She studied and graduated from the Vassar College. Immediately after her college days were over she started to work as stylist with Vogue magazine which is known for its fashion tips and styles. She started as a stylist for not only designers but also for various celebrities. She co-hosted her show "What Not to Wear" with Clinton Kelly. Also she is a brand ambassador for Pantene's range of hair products and many other brands.
Stacy London was New Yorker by birth and raised there too. She is of Sicilian descent from her mother's side. Victoria, her step mother, is a romance novel writer.
Her real mother, Joy, used to work as a venture capitalist. Her dad, Herbert, was the president of the reputed Hudson Institute. Stacy did her BA from Vassar College. She double majored in German philosophy and literature.
Also she was a part of Phi Beta Kappa. She had never considered seriously about taking up a career in fashion until the summer of the year she finished studying. She worked in PR department at Christian Dior's firm as an intern when her interest in fashion bloomed and she started taking serious interest in the world of fashion.
When Stacy London was a child she suffered from a disease called psoriasis. It is this due to her this illness that she suffered that she became a spokesperson for National Psoriasis Foundation. One of her main physical features is her fondness for the grey streak of hair that she has had ever since she was eleven years old. It is even a part of her contract as brand ambassador of Pantene hair products that she can keep that streak of grey hair as it is.
