Richard M. Nixon was a very intellectual and brilliant student of Whittier College and Duke University Law School. When he completed his education with great honor, he started practicing law. He got married to Patricia Ryan and had two daughters. He served as Navy Lieutenant in World War 2.
Richard M. Nixon won the senate seat and after two years General Eisenhower appointed him as his running mate.
He lost the election of presidency against John F. Kennedy by a very narrow margin in 1960. He was once again nominated for the Presidential run and defeated Hubert H. Humphrey.
