Oscar Hernandez was born on April 10, 1978 in Barcelona, Spain. He is a professional tennis player.

Biography and Career :

In 1998 he became a professional tennis player and his actual coach and the person who is next to him in the tournaments is Marcos Roy. During his professional career until now (2007), he has won one ATP double tournament and two single Challengers.

In 2007 he played at the tournament in Barcelona and managed to be one of the quarter-finalists. In the same year he won two Challengers, one at Braunschweig and the other at Florianopolis and these were his first single titles.

At the Challengers in Santiago and Napoli he was one of the semi-finalists before feing eliminated. A quarter-final was reached at the Challenger in Barletta. As a doubles player he won the first and only one until now title at the tournament in Vina del Mar. His partner was Capdeville.

At the tournament in Bastad he and his partner Garcia-Lopez reached the semi-finals, but unfortunately stopped there. Along Poch-Gradin he played the final of the Challenger in Braunschweig and lost it. Ventura was the player that was his partner at the Challenger in Napoli and the team played into the semi-finals but was eliminated before reaching the final.

On June 25, 2007 he was ranked on the 50th position in Top 100, which is the highest for him until now. We wish him luck and no injuries.
