Omarion (real name Omari Ishmael Grandberry) was born on November 12, 1984 in Inglewood, California to Leslie Burell. He is one fourth of the "boys of the new millennium" also known as B2K.

Biography and Career :

As a child, Omarion led a normal life, but had a passion for music since a young age.

Omarion recalls going to a Michael Jackson concert and "reppin" in the stands, although he had bad seats. Now you could find young, screaming fans "reppin" for him in the stands at his sold out shows along with the boys of B2K.

He was the last member to join B2K at age 14. He was introduced to Raz B , J Boog and Lil' Fizz through Chris Stokes ,IMX's manager. Alledgely Omarion and IMX member Marques Hou ston AKA Batman are brothers; However, sources close to the two deny any connection.

Omarion did not have to give up his entire high school career. He was not faced with the decision to leave high school until his junior year. While he did attend high school, Omari was on the football team, and also captain of the dance team (What a conicidence).

He no longer shares a home with his cousin J-Boog and his older brother Marques nor is unified with Lil'Fizz , Raz B or J Boog to form B2K. Venturing on a solo debut Omarion is facing pressure to live up to the success of his former group. "O" which is due out in Novemeber is highly antispicated by both fans and naysayers.

Omarion can also be heard on the following albums: B2K (self titled debut), B2K-The Remix's Volume 1 & 2,B2K-Santa Hooked Me Up, B2K-Pandemonium!, B2K-Pandemonium Special Edition and B2k presents the You Got Served Soundtrack.
