
Olivia Stratton was born in Australia and she is a model, TV Presenter, Masters Degree in Gastronomy and former Miss Australia.
Olivia will make her debut on Getaway as a guest presenter in January and is also currently co-hosting Australian Poker Hero at Crown Casino in Melbourne for Channel 9.
For the past two years Olivia has been based in Adelaide presenting on Channel 7's lifestyle series Discover and hosting on Adelaide Now for News Limited's top rating web TV series The O List - getting the inside scoop with her fresh and upfront interviewing style at all the top festivals, VIP events and parties. Olivia is also the Social Editor for the Sunday Mail, featuring around 15 events in her popular two double-page spread for The O List which boats a readership of more than 700,000
people each week.
Olivia has specialised knowledge and a life-long passion for food, wine and travel that has taken her on a global journey of discovery. Her various roles include the Sauchin Ambassador for Australian Food, Wine and Tourism in China and guest presenter on Bon Voyage in Asia, a popular travel show televised in 25 countries.
In her free time Olivia really enjoys cooking for friends or reviewing new restaurants and with a Masters Degree in Gastronomy and a Diploma in Le Cordon Bleu cooking amongst her bevy of international qualifications she really knows her stuff.
As a result of her impressive credentials and outgoing nature, Olivia was headhunted to host the food, wine and travel TV series Sumptuous on Channel 7 (2006), the Rosemount Australian Fashion Week daily web TV show for ninemsn (2007), as well as an array of campaigns including Saturday Lotto for SA Lotteries (2008), Sunday Mail Citi-Bay (2008) and, as this year's ambassador, the RSPCA Million Paws Walk (2009).
Olivia has interviewed huge names like Dita Von Teese, Fergie, The Veronicas, UK's Trinny and Susannah, supermodels including Tara Moss and Miranda Kerr, Australia's top fashion designers, international food and wine legends, to the 'dirtiest girl in porn' Bella Donna.
Apart from TV presenting Olivia is in demand as an MC and has also modelled professionally in Sydney for a number of years, appearing in several TV commercials here in Australia and overseas for the likes of Dilmah Tea, Samsung and Antz Pantz. Olivia's just returned from her most recent assignment in the Outback filming for the SA Tourism Commission an 'adventure' campaign in the Flinders Ranges with four-wheel driving across extreme rugged terrain, mountain biking, horse riding and sampling some of the bush tucker.
As a result of Olivia's vibrant personality, she has won many accolades including the national title for Miss Australia, the international title for Miss World People's Choice in front of a television audience of 2.8 billion viewers, Hottest on TV in Australia on-line vote, international ambassadorial roles within food, wine, tourism, education and charity, and, in sport, State and National Champion titles for horse riding.
