Nicole Pratt was born on March 5, 1973 in Mackay, Australia. She is a tennis player who resides in Florida, USA.

Biography and Career :

Her family is a large one and besides her they have another four children. The father was a top junior player and he was the one who introduced Nicole to the tennis world. She had done her studies in Calen and received a tennis scholarship to the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra.

In 1989 she became a professional tennis player and after twelve years she was Australia's no. 1 ranked player. Until now she has won one WTA single title, five ITF single titles, nine WTA doubles titles and nine ITF doubles titles.

In 2004 she played at the Indian Open and managed to win the final. In the same year she played at the Australian Open whe re reached the third round. Two years later she was playing the quarter-finals at Toronto and it was one of her best performances at a Tier I tournament.

In 2007 she played the second round at the Sydney Medibank International, but Kim Clijsters defeated her. She participated again at the Australian open in 2007 and Virginie Razzano beat her from the very beginning, into the first round. She is a hard-working player and who knows, maybe she will improve her results in the next years.
