Kreesha Turner was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and was fond of jazz as a child.
Biography and Career:
She loved the music of Oscar Peterson and Ella Fitzgerald. But, later on, his musical interest changed to R&B and hip-hop. At the age of 15, she went to Jamaica for a year. There she sang in a Pentecostal church.
After returning to Canada, she performed at local events around Edmonton. In the meantime, Kreesha won a radio contest and this offered her a record deal for an EP of four tracks. One of those tracks, "Bounce With Me", received very nice responses and was highly played on radio and also on the soundtracks of some TV shows li
