Kaka (birth name Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite) was born on April 22, 1982 in Brasilia, Distrito Federal, Brasil. He is a very talented and famous Brazilian football player who plays for Italian team AC Milan.
Biography and Career :
He started to play football when he was only eight years old at Sao Paolo and he signed his first professional football player contract at the age of fifteen. He debuted as a senior on January 2001 and he succeeded to score twelve times in 27 games.
In the next year he earned the title of Top Player from the 2002 Brazilian Championship and came in the attention of the biggest football club scouts from Europe. In
2003 signed with AC Milan a contract for 8.5 millions euros and his career started to go upper and upper.
He debuted in Serie A in a game against AC Ancona and his team won with 2-0. In his first season at Milan he won the European Super Cup and the Italian Championship. The season 2004-2005 wasn't very good for him, he scored only seven times in 36 games and also a big insuccess was the lost of UEFA Champions League against Liverpool after a dramatic game in which Milan had 3-0.
He was nominated for "Ballon D'Or" but in the end finished the ninth. On April 9, 2006 he scored his first hat-trick in a championship game against Chievo Verona and seven months later his first European hat-trick against RSC Anderlecht. In 2006 his forward mate Shevchenko left Milan and went to Chelsea London so Kaka became the center point in the team of Milan.
After Milan eliminated Manchester United in UEFA Champions League Sir Alex Ferguson declared that Kaka and his player Christiano Ronaldo are the best players in the world. On May 23, 2007 Kaka and his teammates won the UEFA Champions League after another final with Liverpool.
On December 2, 2007 Kaka won the title of European Footballer of the Year and he declared: "It was an exceptional year and the Ballon D'or crowns an extraordinary 2007...I want to thank God who allowed me to be here today. I thank my wife, my parents and Milan, the team that allowed me to win. I also thank my teammates, both at Milan and Brazil, and all of the fans."
