Jim Simpson was born in Washington DC in December, 29, 1927 and is probably the best retired American sportscaster near Curt Gowdy.
He is a famous person especially fir his awards : in 1997, he won the Sports Lifetime Achievement Award, and in 2000 he was inducted into the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association Hall of Fame.
During his career he broadcasted many sports as : football, basketball, baseball, tennis, and golf.
