Janko Tipsarevic was born on June 22, 1984 in Belgrade, Serbia. He is a professional tennis player.

Biography and Career :

In 2002, when he was eighteen years old, he became a professional tennis player. Even though he hasn’t won any ATP single or doubles tournaments he has time to do it. Until now (2007) approximately one million dollars entered his pocket just from tennis.

He has won two Futures and nine Challengers as a single player and three Challengers as a doubles player. In 2001 and 2002 he won the two Futures, the first one at the tournament in Belgrade and the second in Mexico City.

The first two Challengers were won in 2003 at Zell and Torrance, against Jan Frode Andersen and Zack Fleishman. In 2004 another two were won at Ostrava and Belo Horizonte and his op ponents in the finals were Peter Luczak and Ricardo Mello.

The year 2006 came with four titles at Belgrade, Samarkand, Bukhara and Mons. In 2007 at Zagreb he won against Julio Silva in the final, match which ended with the score 3-6, 6-3, 6-3.

Two of the doubles titles were won in 2004 both in Germany. The first tournament was conquered in Furth and the other in Weiden. In March 2005 he won the third doubles title at the tournament in Napoli along Jiri Vanek from the Czech Republic.

At the French Open he managed to reach the third round in 2007 and at Wimbledon the fourth round also in 2007. In 2005 and 2006 he played in the second round at the Australian Open before being eliminated and at the US Open in the first round between 2003 and 2005.
