Jacques Maritain (1882-1973) was a French philosopher.
Short Biography:
Originally a disciple of Bergson, as in La philosophic bergsonienne/Bergsonian Philosophy in 1914, he later became the best known of the Neo-Thomists applying the methods of Thomas Aquinas to contemporary problems, for example Introduction a la Philosophic/Introduction to Philosophy in 1920.
