Ian Van Dahl (birth name Annemie Anne Francine Coenen) was born on July 14, 1978 in Herk-de-Stad, Belgium. She is lead singer of the Ian Van Dahl group.
Biography and Career :
She began as member of the band and she now (2007) is also known with that name because she was the singer and maybe the face of the group. Some of the band’s singles are "Reason", "Will I?", "Secret Love", "Where Are You Now?" or "Just A Girl". They released the album "Ace" in 2002 and two years later "Lost and Found". The band was founded in 2001.
Besides being a singer she is also producer and composer. Her career started when she was a child and sang in the school musical comedies and choral in Antwerp. Before becoming a singer she wanted to be a fashion designer and after a friend invited her to
Ibiza she discovered her passion for music.
She announced the release of a solo album with the help of producer Peter Luts and is expected to appear in 2007. The band’s fans are numerous and they can't wait to see their new projects.
The other members of the band are Peter Luts, David Vervoort, Christophe Chantzis and Erik Vanspauwen. They have been very successful, especially in the United Kingdom and Europe.
