Edie dated Andy Warhol and amongst other amorous encounters was Michael Post.

As an actress she appeared in some short films made by Andy Warhol, an avant-garde filmmaker. She met him in March 1965 and started to visit The Factory, Andy Warhol's studio on a regular basis.
Her first appearances in Warhol's movies were in "A Clockwork Orange" and "Horse".
