Bai Ling was born on October 10, 1970 in Chengdu, China. She is a Chinese actress very popular in the United States.
Biography and Career :
She attended The Lee Strasberg Institute and New York University. Bai Yuxiang and Chen Binbin are her parents, both teachers. Her father is a music teacher and her mother a literature one. Her parents are divorced and both married with someone else. She attended elementary and secondary school and worked a little bit in the army as nurse. After this she attended the People's Art Theater of Chengdu and soon became an actress.
Teng Wenji, a movie director, spotted her while playing in a play and in 1985 she received a role in "On The Beach". In 1991 she went to New York and after eight years she became an American citizen. Since 1994 she
appeared in movies like "The Crow", "Red Corner", "Wild Wild West", "Anna and the King", "Taxi 3". She appeared in the Playboy magazine in a nude pictorial and was invited at many television shows. In 2005 she was part of the jury at the Berlin International Film Festival. She was seen in Stuff magazine's 2006-2007 pin up calendar as July entry.
Being so beautiful, but in the meantime a controversies person offered her publicity and she entered into the public's attention. She is a successful and famous actress and her career will continue many years from now.
