Andrei Cristea was born on May 5, 1984 in Bacau, Romania and he is a famous Romanian soccer player. Andrei Cristea Height : 179 cm.

Biography and Career :

Andrei Cristea began his career playing for FCM Bacau, the local soccer team. He made his first appearance in the First Romanian Division (Divizia A) in 2002, when he was only 18 years old in a match versus Gloria Bistrita.
It was a match with a happy ending for his team, who won with 2:0, but he wasn't one of the strikers that day. But from this moment on, the young Adrian Cristea was going to prove he has great skills and the perfect abilities to become a fabulous player.

After a great season(2003-2004) with FCM Bacau, Steaua Bucharest paid 1.200.000 $ for Andrei Cristea, the biggest sum ever paid for a player from th e internal competition.

Once he was transferred to Steaua, one the best teams from the First Romanian League, Cristea has draw the attention of many important soccer teams such as: Ajax Amsterdam, Valencia, but he decided to continue with Steaua. However the price settled by the team owner, Mr. George Becalli: 20 million Dollars was kind of huge at the moment for a player who only proved his skills in the internal competitions.

After a perfect season with Steaua Bucharest (2004-2005), the young Cristea entered shading cone and he was transferred in 2006 to Poli Timisoara, another important team with high objectives in the Romanina League.

Even though he hasn't reached the best shape to Poli either, we can be sure that a player with his skills, his age and his talent, still has a lot to say and a lot to achieve from now on.
