Zachary Quinto belongs to half-Italian and half-Irish descent. He grew up in Green Tree Pennsylvania. He is a son of Margo and John. In 1995 he completed his graduation from Central Catholic High School after that he attended Carnegie Mellon University's School of Drama. From the child hood he was interested in acting hence he decided to be an actor.
He began his acting career in 2000 from the TV series The Others. After that he appeared in many guest roles in several TV shows including CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Touched by an Angel, Lizzie McGuire, Six Feet Under, and Crossing Jordan. After that he played a role of serial killer Sylar in the
NBC's film Heroes. He earned the huge success from this role.
In 2009 he was cast as a young Spock in the J.J Abrams directed film Star Trek. After that he appeared in the comedy short Boutonniere. He is best known for his role on the third season of 24 as the CTU analyst Adam Kaufman.
