Chris Foxx has a long standing feud with socialite Fabian Basabe after a March 15, 2007 at the downtown Manhattan nightclub The Plumm. Club owner Noel Ashman threw a party for actress Lindsay Lohan and celebrity dj and club owner Samantha Ronson with gues that included Sienna Miller, Chris Knoth, Olivia Palermo and May Anderson. Foxx was at the bar talking to New York Knick point guard Nate Robinson when an inebriated Basabe shoved Foxx and called him "brother" as he stumbled to the bar. Reportedly Foxx then shoved Basabe back violently as Basabe spit at Foxx then threw his wallet in his face then threw a handful of credit cards which included his titanium American Express Centurion card (black card). Plumm security pulled the two apart but neither was ejected from the party. Moments later club owner Noel Ashaman was seen talking to both guys as they were now on opposite ends of the club. Following the altercation Foxx made claims that Basabe's attack was racially motivated; saying Basabe was a racist as he cited a July 2005 incident at Star Room in the Hamptons where Basabe got into a shoving match with two African American doorment at the club and calling them "negro's" repeatedly. After the incident at Plumm Foxx and Basabe bumped heads two more times. In July 2007 the two exchanged words outside of the Hamptons post of the high end retailer Blue & Cream. Then in October 2007 they once again bumped heads on the red carpet for the T-Mobile release party for the Sidekick LX at the celebrity hangout Tenjune. Security seperated the two and Foxx and his guest were allowed to enter while security delayed Basabe's entrance into the party for ten minutes to create a distance between the two. Noel Ashman reportedly sided with Foxx over the incident as Foxx began promoting his own Thursday night party at The Plumm months following the fight.
