Wladyslaw Sikorski (1881-1943) formed the nationalist military organisation in 1909 which during World War I fought for the central powers.
Short Biography:
He was prime minister 1922-23 and war minister 1923-1925. In September 1939 he became prime minister of the exiled Polish government, which transferred to London in 1940. He was killed in an air crash.
The intransigence of his government was a cause of Anglo-Russian friction, but allegations that his death was not accidental are unsubstantiated.
