William Turner Walton (1902-1983) works are Facade in 1923, a series of instrumental pieces designed to be played in conjunction with the recitation of poems by Edith Sitwell; the oratorio Belshazzar's Feast in 1931; and Variations on a Theme by Hindemith in 1963.
He also composed a viola concerto in 1929; two symphonies in 1935; a violin concerto in 1939; and a sonata for violin and pianoforte in 1950.
