Biography and Career :

When she was 19 she wanted to attend the Parsons School of Design and that's why she moved to New York. She changed her mind and signed a contract with Next Model Management. 1996 is the year when she started her real career as a model, as an international model.

Moving to Europe was an important step in her career and she soon became popular. She did many commercials including brands like Nivea, Guess, Chanel and Pantene. During the years she was seen on the cover of important magazines like Marie Claire, Harpers & Queen and Cosmopolitan. In 2004 and 2006 she was seen on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and between 1999 and 2005 on its pages. She couldn't have missed the Victoria's Secret shows and other important fashion events.

In July 2004 she married Petr Nedved, who is a hockey player. She is considered a sexy woman and was ranked on the 32nd place in Maxim's Hot 100 List in 2006. In the same year and with the same magazine she had a quarrel after they published a picture of her without her authorization. In 2006 it was said that she had separated from her husband.
