Biography and Career :
In June, 1980 she participated at "The Price is Right". After two years she went to an audition for "Wheel of Fortune" and won it. She wrote her biography in 1987, "Vanna Speaks!", and it turned to be a best-seller. In the same year she appeared in Playboy. Her next role was as Venus in "Goddess of Love" in 1989, but the critics didn't appreciate her acting too much.
After that, she received roles in movies like "Married... with Children", "Full House" and "The Naked Gun 33". In 1
992, "The Guinness Book of World Records" accorded her the record of "Television's Most Frequent Clapper."
She has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame since April 20, 2006. In 1993 she sued Samsung Electronics for using a humorous ad featuring a robot turning letters on a game show and she won the case. On December 31, 1990, she married George Santopietro. They have two children, but they divorced on May 15, 2002.
