Usher

UsherUsher (real name Usher Raymond IV) was born on October 14, 1978 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA. He is a famous American R&B and pop singer, dancer and actor.

Biography and Career :

He was discovered in a competition of talents in Atlanta, when he was 14. He signed a contract with the co-fonder of La Face, L. A. Reid, to enter a gospel-chorus. He made his debut in 1994 with the album "Usher", being helped by Sean "Puffy" Combs. He was awarded with the Golden Disc with his first single "Think of You".

In 1995 he appeared in a commercial for Coca- Cola. He was a singer of the group Black Men United for the single "You will know". After finishing high school, Usher launched on the market his second album "My Way" in 1997.

He wrote six plays being helped by Jermaine Dupri, Babyface and Combs. "You Make Me Wanna" brought Usher the double Platinum Disc to did "Nice 2 Slow" and "My Way". "Nice 2 Slow" became his first single to be on the first place in the tops for eight weeks.

Meantime, Usher became an actor, been casted in the horror spoof "The Faculty". In 1999 he starred in a drama of the city high school students: "Light it up".

In 1999 Usher recorded a concert called "Live". About the end of the year 2000, he came back with his 3rd album "All About Li". Now, he turned into a real R&B star.

In 2004, the artist released "Yeah" with Ludacris and Lil Jon. Another big strike took the tops: "Confessions". Along his career, Usher had collaborations with Alicia Keys, Beyonce, P Diddy, Ludacris, Lil Jon and other great names in the industry of music.
