Jim Hellwig was born June 16, 1959 .He was running a group of 4 body builders that was known as Powerteam of USA. This Team was trained by Rick Bassman. Jim and one of his colleague Steve Borden caught the eyes of promoters in Tennessee, where they went as the Bladerunners Rock and Flash later they became known as Sting.
Jim Hellwig as a Bladerunner Rock fought in the Tennessee and Oklahoma territories.
In 1986, Jim Hellwig entered the Texas territory that is televised on ESPN and he was renamed as the Dingo warrior.he found success very quickly by winning the both tag team titl
es and the Texa titles. After that he started painting his face in the pattern we are also used to.
After that In 1987 he entered the WWF and was renamed as the Ultimate Warrior.
Very soon he became the Intercontinental champion by beating the Honky Tonk Man and he held the title for 8 months after that he loses it to Rick Rude.Few months later he regained the belt and went to fight for World Title.
At WrestleMania VI he beat Hulk Hogan and became WWF Champion.
