Tyrone Power was bornat Chicinati in 1914 . He is well known for his stage performances.
One of the great romantic actors of the mid 20th century whose roots came from the family of a historian, his father Tyrone power Sir and a well respected actress, his mother Patia Riaume. His grandfather was also known as an Irish comedian.
He was born at his mother home in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1914. And he then spent his initial years in southern California and return to Cincinnati along with his mother and Sister Anne Power after his parents divorced. He developed an obsession for acting in very early age which was later encouraged by his father. And remained a part of his father stage
production of "The merchant of Venice" in Chicago.
Initially he appeared in very small roles in Hollywood but then moved to east to do stage work. And in 1936 he was selected from a screen test which led to a contract with 20th century fox. And after a year he was one of the leading stars of Fox. Most of the roles selected by him were very colorful and his swordplay was more admired and praised than his wordplay.
Though he was very famous star but much of his post war work was unremarkable. But he continued to do renowned stage works until he starts his own productions. He died because of a heart attack after an accident while performing in Billy Wilder's Witness for the Prosecution in 1957.
