Biography and Career:
Tyler Perry is an American actor, producer, director, screenwriter, and author.
Tyler Perry was born in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1969. He lived with his family of 3 siblings, a mother and an abusive father. Tyler's childhood was far from perfect. He was tortured by his father's beatings, and went to an extent of thinking suicide as well. His mother being a staunch Christain, took him to the church every week. Later during the days of financial crippling, Perry would grow up, and become much involved with a local Christain church.
Perry never completed high school. He got inspired by a discussion on the act of writing
on Oprah Winfrey show, and from thereon he grew interest in writing as a career. He kept a diary of daily thoughts, did lot of intense letter-writing to himself, tried to let go of pain, and practised forgiveness. The writings led to the making of "I know I've been changed", and off Tyler went, to Atlanta, with his dreams and perseverance to deal with what was to come. Spending a lot on staging the song, he crumpled in poverty, being forced to sleep in cheap hotels and sometimes his car. His strong belief in God and involvement with the church gave him continuous strength to hold on, and to keep going. He struggled for 6 years. At 28, when his mother started being concerned about him, Perry decided to give it one last shot. His determination paid off, and the performance at church in Atlanta led to his staging at Atlanta's prestigious Fox theatre, making him never to look back.
Perry has humour attached to his personality. He acted in "I Can Do Bad All By Myself", playing Madea. The play led to spawning of a series of other Madea- plays. In 2005, the first feature film, "Diary of a Mad Black Woman" was released and was a massive success. Tyler has had many successful movies and wrote a book as well, in 2006. In 2008 fall, he opened his 200,000 sq ft. studio in Atlanta.

Tyler Perry you deserved to be famous, because you been through struggles which left you living out of your car. You were a bill collector. All of your plays and movies are about everyday life. Your plays and movies are something that children can enjoy.We need more people like you. Don't let hollywood change you. I went to one of your plays in LA madeas goes to jail. And I enjoy it a lot. Gelila is pretty but she look like so many other girl the only thing she has done is model and the only reason people know about her is being with Tyler Perry. I wish her the best though.
