Biography and Career :
While coveted and promoted for her appearance and sex appeal, few realize how cerebral a young woman she is as well. What other wrestling honey would cite Brave New World as her favorite book? Believe it or not, Trish Stratus studied biology and kinesiology at York University in Toronto with the goal of one day entering medical school.
Trish Stratus became interested more and more in weight training and fitness, and developed a particular fascination for comic book sirens and muscle magazine vixens. In her mind, the determined
Trish knew that with the right mental approach and discipline, she too could have what she termed the "ideal comic [strip] body."
Harnessing her gymnastic training and her knowledge of bodybuilding, Trish Stratus began working out six days a week and followed a strict diet. Trish Stratus found employment as a receptionist at a health club and was discovered soon thereafter.
Embarking on a career as a fitness model, Trish Stratus was gracing the cover of popular magazines in a short period of time. The opportunities to model and subsequent demands on her time accelerated at a rapid pace and she decided to leave university when a staff strike canceled class. It would not be long before the WWE would call.

Renowned for her work as a fitness model, Trish Stratus entered World Wrestling Entertainment in 2000 first as a manager for several young superstars, including former WWE Intercontinental Champion Val Venis. However, her beauty and athleticism left the fans asking for more Trish Stratus and the young Diva delivered as she worked her way to the top of the WWE Women's Division.
Trish Stratus has held the WWE Women's Championship on several occasions and is always in the mix to challenge for the top spot and headline a major WWE event. Trish Stratus's dedication to her craft has made her one of the toughest, most athletic Divas to ever enter the ring and her arsenal includes everything from powerful punches to acrobatic feats that seems to wow WWE fans on a weekly basis.
Despite the bumps and bruises that come with being a WWE Superstar, when it is time to pose in front of the cameras, Trish Stratus is always in championship form. She was named WWE Diva of the Decade during the RAW 10th Anniversary Special and has won the WWE.com Babe of the Year competition all three years.
Trish Stratus has also graced the cover of WWE and RAW Magazines too many times to count and is always one of the more popular entries in the annual WWE Divas Magazine special.
Trish Stratus made headlines for a change of heart during a love triangle between herself, Christian and Chris Jericho. Despite suffering a savage beating at the hands of Christian after several verbal spats, during WrestleMania XX, Trish Stratus turned on Chris Jericho and revealed her affection for Christian, shocking both the fans and her former beau alike.
Since then, Trish Stratus is vigourously held onto her title, defeating other Divas such as Nidia, Victoria and Stacy Keibler. At Taboo Tuesday, Trish Stratus battled all the Divas in a "Schoolgirl Match" and retained the title yet again. But that reign came to an end Dec. 6 in Charlotte, N.C., as Lita defeated her in an epic match.
