Trevor Blumas was born on October 16, 1984. He is a Canadian television and film actor and singer-songwriter.
Biography and Career
Trevor Blumas was born in London, Ontario. He attended the Lester B. Pearson School for the Arts, from where he studied drama, music, dance, and art. Blumas was part of the Original Kids Theatre Company in Ontario, and for his performance in Stranger in Town he was nominated for a 1999 Young Artist Award for Best Performance. In 2003 he got his graduation done from AB Lucas Secondary School.
In 2005 Blumas co-starred in the Disney film Ice Princess alongside Michelle Trachtenberg. In the 2007 he appeared again in a television movie Too Young to Marry.
In his teenage Blumas took a break from acting to join a band called Staylefish. He wrote th
e reggae ballad Hold On for the band and become a songwriter too along with an actor. He is also working on his own solo album on the same label as his former band Calamity Entertainment. He is currently the lead singer of the indie-band, Corduroy.
He have also acted in few films as well like Dinner at Fred's in which he played the role of Young Richard, film was released in 1999. Then again he was seen on big screen in 2001 playing a role of Kyle Hunter in the movie titled The Unsaid. Lastly he was appeared on cinema screen in 2005 as Teddy Harwood in the film titled Ice Princess.
Since 1997 Trevor appeared on television in different roles in different series like Earth: Final Conflict, The wall, Little Men, Stranger in Town, Seasons of Love, Twice in Lifetime, Jane Doe, Inside the Osmonds, Guilt by Association, and Too young to Marry.
He have been nominated for several awards like for a 2000 Young Artist Award Best Performance in a TV Series in Young Ensemble, for Little Men in 1998 and for a 2001 Young Artist Award Best Performance in a TV Drama Series in Guest Starring Young Actor, for Twice in a Lifetime in 1999 .
