Tom Sizemore was born on November 29, 1961 in Detroit, Michigan and he is an American film and television actor and producer and he is also known for his roles of soldiers in war films such as Saving Private Ryan, Pearl Harbor and Black Hawk Down. He has a younger brother, Paul, who is also an actor and a niece, Beverly, who is a songwriter and former Pussycat Doll.
Sizemore attended Michigan State University for one year, as well as Wayne State University. He earned a Master's degree in theatre from Temple University in 1986. He subsequently moved to New York City to pursue an acting career. He has done films such as Lock Up, Harley Davidson and th
e Marlboro Man, True Romance, Natural Born Killers and Strange Days.
He has also done some comedy films such as Super Capers. He also starred alongside martial arts actor Mark Dacascos in the action movie Shadows in Paradise. In addition, Sizemore also appeared in five episodes of the drama TV series Crash with Dennis Hopper.
He starred also in the Indie Horror film C.L.A.S.S. which is written by Sheldon Robins, and co starred with Kyra Sedgwick and Vincent D'Onofrio in drama/comedy film Chlorine.
Sizemore fronted the Hollywood rock band Day 8. Formed in 2002, the band recorded a 4-song EP produced and recorded by former Snot/Soulfly guitarist Mike Doling. The group included Rod Castro, Alan Muffterson, Tyrone Tomke and Michael Taylor.
He is currently under investigation for stealing multiple cell phones from a Verizon store in March 2009. On May 28, 2009, was arrested in Los Angeles on an outstanding warrant for drug charges.
He found in the area with a friend. After cops quizzed the pair, it was discovered that there was a $25,000 warrant for the star's arrest. A police search found Sizemore's friend in possession of narcotics. He himself did not have any narcotics in his possession, but was subsequently arrested on the outstanding 2007 warrant, and was later released.
