Tiiu Kuik was born on March 16, 1987, in Tallinn, Estonia. In the year 2000, she was spotted by a model scout. As a result, she toured Japan and Italy.
She got her first break in 2003 when she appeared for labels like Calvin Klein, Jil Sander, Versace and other big fashion names. In 2003, she walked the ramp for the Fall/Winter collection of Gucci. She was seen once again for Gucci's Spring/Summer collection in 2004.

She also appeared in a number of magazines like Vogue Australia and in Spanish editions of Mexico and US. She also appeared in print advertises for the likes of Christian Dior fragrance line. In 2004, she walked the ramp for haute c outure designers like Christian Dior, Jean -Paul Gaultier and Giorgio Armani, Baby Phat and other design labels.
