Terence Conran

Terence Conran (born in 1931) is a British designer and retailer of furnishings, fashion, and household goods.

He was founder of the Habitat and Conran companies, with retail outlets in the UK, USA, and elsewhere.

In 1964 he started the Habitat company, then developed Mothercare. His Storehouse group of companies gained control of British Home Stores in 1986.
