Taylor Swift is a new sensation in pop industry today; with her long curly blond hair and amazing voice she stole hearts of millions of people around the globe with her first debutant album itself named “Taylor Swift” in 2006.
Career:
Taylor was born on December 13th, 1989 to Andrea and Scott Swift who is a stockbroker. She was raised at Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. Singing seems to be in her blood, she started writing songs and singing them at small functions around her hometown at the tender age of 10. Her first big concert was at Bloomsbury Fair at the age of 12. Swift considered her ideal to be Shania Twain.
Swift got rejection from every recording company at Nashville at the age of 11 but she was asked to sing the National Anthem at U.S.Open Tennis tournament and she
was noticed by big names in the recording industry then.
At the age of 15 Swift rejected a record deal from RCA Records but was signed by Scott Borchetta who had started a new recording company called Big Machine Records.
Swift’s first debutant single was “Tim McGraw” in 2006 and in later part of the same year she released her first album titled “Taylor Swift”. The album broke many records and was at the top of list of Top Country Album Charts for 8 straight months.
Taylor’s second single from was “Teardrops on my guitar” released in February 2007. It reached the 2nd position in Billboard’s Hot Country songs. Her third song of her debutant album “Our Song” was at number 16 on Billboard’s Hot 100. Her number one single was “Should’ve Said No”.
Taylor’s second album was “Fearless” released on November 11th, 2008. The album was very well received by audience worldwide and debuted at Number 1 position on Billboard 200 Album Chart. The most famous songs from that album were “Love Story” and “Romeo and Juliet”.
In 2010, released a track for the movie “Valentines Day” in which she debuted as an actress herself and the song ruled at Number 2 spot on Billboard Hot 100.
Swift has started a campaign to protect children against Internet sex crimes and she has been in a relationship with Joe Jonas and Taylor Lautner.
Taylor won many awards. Her famous albums are Taylor Swift (2006) - Fearless (2008) and some famous singles are "Tim McGraw" - "Teardrops on My Guitar" - "Our Song" - "Picture to Burn" - "Should've Said No" - "Love Story" - "White Horse" - "You Belong with Me" - "Fifteen" - "Fearless". She also appeared in many movies which are Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience - Hannah Montana: The Movie - Valentine's Day.

taylor swift is great! i just got done watching the cmt music awards 2009. She won 2 awards for love story. Because of her im on my way to being a star. (well im still singing on the couch but i hope i can sing for public events soon and about her being not cute and needs singing lessons, it doesnt matter if you think shes cute because its an opinoin and its not true and she doesnt need singing lessons because if she didnt she wouldnt have won a grammie or the cmt awards!
