Biography and Career :
She spent part of her childhood in Skanor, Sweden. Her parents had another child, Sophie, in 1973. Her modeling career started at 17 years old by when she moved to Paris and managed to become one of the most known supermodels all over the world. Peter Lindbergh wrote about her in his book '10 Women'.
As a model she worked for the most important names in the fashion world as Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, Gianfranco Ferre, Givenchy, Jil Sander, Ralph Lauren, Valentino and Versace. Being on the cover of more than 130 magazines is an important thing and proves how famous she is.
Moving to California helped her starting an acting career. She was seen in t
he movie 'Rising Sun' along Sean Connery. But her most important role in a movie remains Leight Woodfield in "Restraining Order" in 1999. "Skin Trade" by Duran Duran and "Freedom" by George Michael are two music videos in which she played.
She appeared in music videos, commercials, advertisements, television series and movies and her career hasn't stopped yet. She had a strong relationship with famous singer Seal, but eventually they broke up.
