
Tatjana Malek was born on August 8, 1987 in Bad Saulgau, Germany. She is a young and talented tennis player.
Biography and Career :
The names of her parents are Heinrich and Margit Malek. She also has two brothers Daniel and Mathias. When she was only five years old she started playing tennis. She became a professional tennis player and started winning titles.
Until now (2007) she has won two ITF single tournaments and one ITF doubles tournaments, but still any WTA tournament. Her favorite surface is hard and besides tennis she likes playing hhandball and doing shopping.
On May 5, 2003 she won the doubles tournament on clay in Warsaw, Poland along Anette Kolb. They beat the team of Barbora Machovska and Ivana Platenikova from Czech Republic with the score 6-3, 6-3.
In
2006 she won the two ITF single titles. The first one came in July at Les Contamines, France. It was on clay and she beat in the final Sandra Zahlavova, from Czech Republic with the score 6-3, 6-4.
In August came the second title, at Hechingen, Germany. In the final her opponent was Magda Mihalache from Romania. The tournament was on hard and the final ended with the score 6-2, 6-3.
In June 2007 she reached the highest position for her in Top 100, the eighty-seven position. She is young, powerful and talented and many Germans hope to see her winning important titles.
