Sybille Bammer was born on the 27th of April 1980 in Linz, Austria. She is a famous tennis player.

Biography and Career :

In 1997 she became a professional tennis player and since then she has won 10 single titles and one doubles title.
After four years a break was taken because she was pregnant and had to give birth to her daughter.
The year when she came back, 2002, was great. She won her first three tournaments at Grenoble, Mostar and Innsbruck against players like Virginie Pichet, Zuzana Kucova and Barbora Strycova.
In 2003 she won another four titles at Jersey, Cardiff, Nottingham and Valasske Mezirici. Her opponents in the final were Sofia Arvidsson, Irina Boulykina, Kirsten Flipkens and Lucie Šafáøová.
The tournaments in Fontanafredda and Bronx were won in 2005 agai nst Alice Canepa and Camille Pin.
The most recent tournament title came in 2007 after a final won against Gisela Dulko in Pattaya City, Thailand.
In 2006 she participated at the Australian Open and stopped in the third round. She also participated at the Wimbledon and played into the third round and at the US Open, where stopped into the second round.
Next year, in 2007, she played into the fourth round at Roland Garros.
In September 2007 her daughter is starting school and she is planning her tournaments in order not to stay away from home for more than a month at any one time.
Even if she won’t play as much as she did before we are sure she still has a lot to prove and will win many tournaments.
