My husband and I just finished watching Monarch of the Glen. We own the DVD and consider Susan Hampshire an absolute treasure. I have enjoyed all the BBC presentations in which she starred from The First Churchills to this more recent one. In between, we loved "The Pallisers," and "The Grand." Ms. Hampshire [Lady Kulukandis] adds her beauty, charm, and talent to all she touches. She quite literally sparkles in every scene she's in, and how delightful to note she is a contemporary. Yea for this talented, charming, beauty six decades old. She is an absolute inspiration to those of us of years. I look forward to seeing her in future dramas, as well as tracking down her books. Thenk you, Dear Lady, for lighting up the lives of your audience!
