Summer Glau was born on July 24, 1981, in San Antonio, Texas. She had started her career as a dancer, but, later on, took up acting as her career.
In 2002, she got a guest spot on the show “Angel”. Her work in that episode gave her the spirits to pursue a career in acting. Soon enough, she got the chance to act in a few episodes of a new sci-fi program “Firefly” in that same year.
In 2004, she appeared in the movie “Sleepover” and she was also seen in “CSI”. She also acted in the movie version on Firefly, named as “Serenity”. The movie was released in 2005.
