Steve Davis (born in 1957) was a English snooker player.
Short Biography:
He has won every major honour in the game since turning professional in 1978. He has been world champion six times, including 1989.
He has won as many major tides as all the other professionals between them.
Davis won his first major title in 1980 when he won the Coral UK Championship. He has also won world tides at Pairs and with the England team. His earnings regularly top £1 million through on- and off-the-table prize money and endorsements.
