Steve Carell (full name Steven John Carell) was born on August 16, 1962 in Acton, Massachusetts, United States of America. He is a Golden Globe- and Screen Actors Guild Award-winning American comedian and actor.
Biography and Career :
He was born to Harriet T. and Edwin A. Carell, has another three brothers and spent his childhood in Acton, Massachusetts. He attended classes at The Fenn School and Middlesex School and after he went on to study at Denison University in Granville, Ohio.
His success as an actor and comedian came only after receiving a supporting role in "Bruce Almighty" and his success rose after he played in "The 40-Year-Old Virgin". He is also well known from "The Office", a television show aired on BBC in which he plays the character of a regional manager of Dunder Mifflin Scranton. This is how his humour came to be known by many and he was also awarded with a Golden Globe award and many other nominations.
