Sophia Loren (born as Sofia Villani Scicolone) was born in Rome, Italy, on September 20, 1934 to father Riccardo Scicolone and mother Romilda Villani. Sophia father didn’t want to marry her mother; he abandoned and left his woman and his children without support.
In order to survive, Loren and her siblings were grown up by their grandmother somewhere near Naples. She is well known as being an Italian actress.
