Slim is one great country/ballad singer ,Its not surprising that his concerts were a sell out.Slim has stayed with "clean songs"and you can hear the words he is singing! a terrific voice and a brilliant yodeller.Slim has released a new 3cd set " The Essential" more of Slim to listen to and well worth it.Slim sadly lost his wife after 67 years of marriage .Slim is a good man and i agree with the above comment" that is probably why is so well loved".

Slim whitman had the purest and most lovely voice of all times. I fell in love with the man at a very early age and I still love him now. Good on him for caring for his wife in the way he has. Probably thats why he is so well loved. Bless you Slim.
