At the National Western Stock Show in Denver, we were showing a bull, a black angus. I had plenty of time to roam around and take in the sights. One day I was walking past the arena when these big feet came through the fence and just missed me. And I thlought it was slim Pickens. This was in 1959l. Others that were at the rodeo were Casey Tibbs, and Woods. Can you tell me if I imagined that it was Slim, he was doing the clown bit to help the riders. |
