Sitiveni Rabuka (born in 1948) when the 1987 elections in Fiji produced an Indian-dominated government, Rabuka staged two successive coups (the first shortlived). Short Biography:
Within months of the second, he stepped down, allowing a civilian government to take over. In May 1992 he was nominated as the new Fijian premier.
