Sirimavo Bandaranaike (1916-2000) was an Sri Lankan politician, who succeeded her husband Solomon Bandaranaike.
Short Biography:
She become the world's first woman prime minister 1960-1965 and 1970-1977, but was expelled from parliament in 1980 for abuse of her powers while in office.
She was largely responsible for the new constitution in 1972.
