Shirley Manson was born on August 26, 1966 in Edinburgh, Scotland. She is a famous musician and an actress. She was a member of Girlguide UK as a Brownie and a guide. she also modeled clothing for Jackie magazine.

Shirley Manson started her career as a musician in early 1980s by performing backing vocals and keyboard for the Scottish Band "Good Bye Mr. McKanzie.
Her first album "Good Deeds and Dirty Rags" was released in 1988. After that in 1991 her second album "Hammer and Tongs" was released which took her at her peak. Her latest album "Absolute Garbage" was released in 2007.

Manson performed backing vocals a track for Gavin Rossdale's solo album Wanderlust. The first time Manson contributed her vocals to a project outwith any of her bands was in 1998 when she performed vocals for the chorus of a Garbage produced remix of Fun Loving Criminals in 1999 single "Korean Bodega".
Manson acted in the famous television series "Adam Raised a Cam" which was released in 2009. She also acted in the television series "Born to Run" which was released in 2009.

She is famous for being a musician and singer of the album "Five" which was released in 1993.
