Shanae Grimes was born on October 24, 1989, in Toronto, Canada. She had been highly interested in acting and worked hard to develop an acting career from an early age. Shenae got in contact with Jake Goldsbie of the show “Degrassi” and signed up his agent.

She soon earned a spot on “Degrassi” where she played the character of Darcy. The show became popular even in the USA.
