She was a singer in a band "Fydolla Ho" and had tours with them in United States and United Kingdom.
In 1982 she started her acting career with a role in the movie "Annie". Other movies in which she played are "Summer School", "The Blob", "Saw", "Saw II", "Saw III", "Married with Children", "Becker", "The Stand" and many others. She received an award from the Youth in Film Award for Best Actress in a television film for her role in the CBS drama "Crime of Innocence".
The actress got married to Jason Reposar and they have one child but now they are divorced. In 2003 she got married to Kai Mattoon a
nd they have one son, Jakson Makana Smith Mattoon, who was born on December 12, 2005.
