Biography and Career:

Seth Rogen was born on April 15, 1982, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He began performing at comedy events from the age of 13. In his mid teens, he became the runner up at a comedy championship in his city. Thereafter, he left school and moved to LA in search of a career in comedy and performed at various stand-up comedy events.

In 1999, he appeared in the show “Feaks and Geeks” which aired for a total of 18 episodes. There he played the role of Ken Miller. In 2001, he ventured into another TV show, “Undeclared”, with the producer of “Freaks and Geeks”, Judd Apatow. Seth Rogen wrote a few episodes for this show as well.

In 2005, he wrote for the HBO series, “Da Ali G Show”. For this he got a nomination at Primetime Emmy. He also wrote script for the movie “Borat”.
Apart from writing, he grabbed a prominent role in the Judd Apatow movie “The 40 Year Old Virgin”. In 2007, he got a lead role in Judd Apatow directed “Knocked Up” as Ben Stone. For this role, Seth Rogen won a number of nominations at the MTV awards.

That year, he also wrote and acted in the movie “Superbad” and the next year, he helped in making “The Pineapple Express”.
In late 2008, he appeared in the movie “Zack and Miri Make a Porno”. His projects in 2009 include “Funny People” directed by Judd Apatow and then in “Observe and Report”.
