Sebastien Grosjean was born on the 29th of May 1978 in Marseille, France and is a tennis player who resides in Boca Raton, Florida, USA.

Biography and Career :

Bruno Clement is his coach and the person who is next to him during the tournaments and training.
In 1996 he became a professional tennis player after starting this career long time ago.
He has won until now two ATP single tournaments, one ATP Masters Series title and four ATP doubles tournaments.
The ATP Masters Series title came in November 2001 in Paris after a final against Yevgeny Kafelnikov.
The other two single titles were conquered in June 2000 in Nottingham against Byron Black and in October 2002 in St Petersburg against Mikhail Youzhny.
The doubles tournaments were won between 2000 and 2004 at Casablanca, Los Angeles, Marseille and Indian Wells.
In 1999 he played two finals, one at Atlanta and the other at Key Biscayne, but they were both lost.
Vicente was the player who beat him in the final at Casablanca in 2000 and Roddick at Queen's in 2004.
In 2001 he lost another two finals, at Marseille and Tennis Masters Cup and in 2003 at Queen's and Tokyo.
Andy Rodick beat him again, this time in the final of the tournament in Houston in 2005.
In 2000 and 2005 at the US Open he reached the third round.
His best performances at the Grand Slam tournaments are the semi-finals played in 2001 at the Australian Open and Roland Garros and in 2003 and 2004 at Wimbledon.
On the 16th of November 1998 he married Marie-Pierre. The couple has two daughters, Lola and Sam, and one son, Tom.
In 2001 he and his tem won the Davis Cup.
