Seann William Scott was born on October 3, 1976 in Cottage Grove, Minnesota. He is an American actor, best known for his role portraying Steve Stifler in the American Pie series of teen films.

Biography and Career :

He was born to Patricia Ann and William Frank Scott, a homemaker and a factory worker, he has another six siblings and studied at Crestview Elementary School and Park High School. His first performance as a professional was in an Aerosmith music video, "Hole in My Soul". Shortly after he also appeared in a television show called "Chad's World".

His real success came after playing the role of Steve Stifler in the big screen teen comedy "American Pie" in 1999. Although he stated that he is afraid of typecasting Seann appeared in movies with a wide variety of character roles such as "Final Destination" (him being a nerd), and "Dude, Where's My Car?" (a harmless stoner).

After he appeared in movies such as American Pie 2, Bulletproof Monk, American Wedding, The Dukes of Hazzard, Ice Age 2: The Meltdown (voice), The Promotion, Role Models, and many others.
